Halifax BPW September Meeting
We are excited to announce that we will be resuming face to face meetings this month. The Halifax Business and Professional Women’s monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8th at The Halifax River Yacht Club, 331 S. Beach St., Daytona Beach. Social hour begins at 5:30pm, followed by the meeting at 6pm.
President Dawn LeBeau will be sharing a lot of great information from her recent call with the other Presidents of BPW. We will also be discussing membership, the BPW Covid Relief Fund, and our plans for the upcoming year. We are fortunate to have a diverse and strong membership, who believe in the mission of BPW and the importance of a strong leadership team. Let’s give our new officers our support and appreciation for all their time and talents. Remember, we are stronger together and BPW is only as good as the membership makes it.
Please join us to welcome new friends, see old friends, and enjoy the evening. There will be a 50/50 charity raffle. Meeting attendance is free with food and drink available for credit card purchase from The Halifax River Yacht Club. All non-HRYC members will be charged a fee of $3 per person for purchases.
Masks required upon entry but are not required in the Halifax room during our meeting. All HRYC employees wear masks and are following necessary safety guidelines. Please RSVP via Evite, Facebook, or text by Monday, September 7th. If you are not able to attend, you can join us virtually. Donations can also be made remotely. For information, call or text Halifax BPW Membership Chair, Shelly Albright at (386) 843-8807.
Please invite friends and colleagues. Guests are always welcome at Halifax BPW. Donations are always welcome for the scholarship piggy bank with proceeds benefiting The Education Foundation of BPW/FL. We have a Square account for credit card processing. Help us continue the legacy of helping women achieve their goals and dreams.
We miss you!

Halifax BPW, which meets the second Tuesday of each month, is a chapter of the Florida Federation of Business & Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. Today’s BPW objectives are: • To elevate the standards for women in business and professions. • To promote the interests of business and professional women. • To bring about a spirit of cooperation among business and professional women of the United States. • To extend opportunities to business and professional women through education along lines of industrial, scientific and vocational activities. Membership is open to anyone interested in these goals.
